Phenom 300 receives EASA steep-approach approval
Embraer Executive Jets receives EASA steep-approach certification for the Phenom 300 business jet.
The Phenom 300 built by Embraer Executive Jets has received certification for steep-approach from EASA, which enables increased descent angles of up to 5.5 degrees.
The announcement was made at EBACE in Geneva, where the company were displaying a range of Embraer business jets including the Phenom 300.
Marco Túlio Pellegrini, president and CEO of Embraer Executive Jets, said: “This certification enhances the Phenom 300’s operational flexibility. Our European customers will be particularly pleased to have access to special airports, such as London City.”

This new approval allows the Phenom 300 to operate non-stop from London City to Samara in Russia or Ankara in Turkey.
