Jet Aviation Basel expands its service agreement with Embraer Executive Jets.

Jet Aviation Basel and Embraer Executive Jets have expanded their service agreement to include more aircraft maintenance services available to customers, including as interior and repair work.

Basel was appointed as an Embraer service centre in 2013, providing line and base maintenance to Legacy 600 and Legacy 650 business jets.

Michael Girps, director of Embraer Maintenance Operations at Jet Aviation Basel, said: “Expanding the scope of available services to our Embraer Executive Jets customers improves our ability to seamlessly meet their needs under one roof, while offering the added benefit of reducing aircraft downtime.”

We have an experienced team of skilled interior specialists and broad in-house capabilities — including on-site cabinetry, upholstery, composite, sheet metal and paint shops, interior design, engineering and certification services — that are second to none. This authorisation validates our ability to meet the highest quality standards,” added Girps.

Jet Aviation Basel is capable of outfitting jets as large as an Airbus A380 or the Boeing 747-8 series and has already completed numerous Airbus 319ACJ, A320, A330, A340 and Boeing B737, B757, B767 and B747-400 aircraft. Jet Aviation Basel also provides aircraft maintenance and repair services to a wide variety of business jets.
