Jet Aviation Basel, a VVIP completion centre has appointed Matthew Woollaston as its new director of market development and completions sales.

Woollaston joins Jet Aviation from New Zealand-based Altitude Aerospace Interiors, where he led the company’s VIP completions business for five years.

“We are delighted to welcome Matthew to our team,” said Ruedi Kraft, vice president, Market Development and Completions Sales for Jet Aviation Basel.

“Given his experience, Matthew appreciates the advantages a wide scope of in-house capabilities offers and he has a great track record of managing customer expectations and delivering luxury aircraft interiors that meet or exceed their expectations,” added Kraft.

Neil Boyle, Jet Aviation Basel’s vice president and general manager of the Completions centre, said: “We are continuously investing in new aviation technologies and our employees’ understanding of them. Matthew has the aviation know-how and business acumen to ensure our customers understand how we can best meet their requirements to the highest business aviation standards.”

Woollaston is a licensed aircraft maintenance engineer and holds a bachelor of commerce degree from the University of Auckland.
