328 will manufacture galley complex for Jet Aviation

German-based company wins a third galley project from Jet Aviation.

German-based company, 328, which is part of the 328 Group, has won a contract to build a VVIP Airbus A340-600 rear galley complex for Jet Aviation Basel, Switzerland.

The project will will be undertaken at the 328 headquarters in Oberpfaffenhofen, Germany, with installation to take place at Jet Aviation in Basel. It is expected to by completed by mid-2014 for delivery to an undisclosed VVIP private customer.

The new galley is the third galley project for Jet Aviation built by 328.

Dave Jackson, managing director of 328 says: “We are extremely pleased to win this contract against very stiff completion and are delighted to continue our close relationship with Jet Aviation, one of the major VIP completion providers in the world. Importantly, this contract further reinforces our capabilities on aircraft besides the Dornier 328 and we are already in discussions with Jet Aviation regarding additional projects on this aircraft.”
